  i was unfortunate enough to have had delivered my baby at st.joseph..in paterson.. there i met dr.scofield during regular rounds. and i liked her.. so when i decided to continue going to take my baby to her office... due to scheduling conflicts, we met with the other doctors there as well.. i hated the fact that the my baby was always on display for them to teach from i felt that they did'nt really see the needs of my child and it caused us a lot of addition money and lots of tears. it was til our 5th month visit we saw doctor scofield again and she informed us issues with our child... clearly the other doctors should have noticed as well. dr.scofield was a bit surprised when i told her no one ever said anything about it.... she was the only one there i felt was sincere and let me hold my baby during exams etc... the other doctors just laid down the law... and said no... please put the baby on the table.. even the nurses... only one of the nurses there were kind enough and let me hold the baby during certain procedures.. and he didn't cry.. unlike the other doctors and nurses... who had him screaming i knew something always didn't feel right.. but being a first time mom and so tired... i didn't know any better... and now that i've gone to other offices... i know the difference.... and so does the baby. overall: they like to do it their way, there are no compromises and baby gets to be a guinea pig.... not recommended...for lots of reasons
